Physiological interpretation of electrometric investigation of the lungs, based on the structural model

Pogodin A.

Institute of laser physics (Novosibirsk)

This report demonstrates the possibility of quantitative determination of regional (in separate locus) lung's hemodynamics, by means of electrometric measurement and interpretation of results, based on the lung's structural model.

The model represents lungs as a three-component (blood, tissue, air) structure, where components form mutually penetrating spatial lattices.

The correlation between specific conductometric parameters and relative volumes of structural components is submitted on the basis of the Maxwell's equation, if it contains special "geometrical factors", provided by the mathematical model that had been developed.

On the basis of this model some equations for practical calculations of value of regional relative blood volume and its dynamics were received.
