Cybernetics and Phisiology
The mathematical model of lung immune defense is constructed. Model-based approach to estimate the energy cost of disease and of health maintenance is suggested. The problem of parameters identification is formulated using the variational principle of minimal energy dissipation. The approach is applied to the interpretation of mechanisms of development and treatment methods of chronic lung bacterial infections.
