Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Engineering Academy of Science of Republic of Kazakhstan, Institute of Computational Technologies of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, Joint Institute of Informatics of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, Technopark "Novosibirsk", Novosibirsk State University, Novosibirsk State Technical University will carry on an International Conference "Computational Technologies and Mathematical Models for Research, Engineering and Education" on September 18-20, 2002.

The Conference will take place in one of the beautiful cities of Central Asia - Almaty. Former capital of Republic of Kazakhstan didn't loose its significance as business, scientific and cultural center of the country. Almaty is named as Southern Capital of Kazakhstan.
The Conference will be held in one of the oldest institutes of higher education of Kazakhstan - Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Great scientific potential is concentrated in the University. Eight scientific institutes are functioned in the University, including Scientific Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics.
Almaty is situated at the foothills of Trans-Ili Alatau and the period of the Conference is the most attractive time for visiting the city. In September the famous fruits of Almaty ripen, and the most favourable weather is set. Please, visit our sites for more information

Items for Discussion:

The International Organizing Committee headed by Academician IAS HS T.A. Kojamkulov, Academician RAS Yu.I. Shokin and Academician EA RK B.T. Jumagulov, endorsed the Scientific Program of the Conference including the following fields:

• New informational technologies in the problems of mathematical modelling;
• New mathematical models and numerical algorithms for solving the problems of mechanics of continuous media;
• Mathematical modeling in the engineering science and the problems on safety of engineering systems;
• Theoretical and experimental problems of fluid and gas dynamics;
• New advances in methods and applications of interval analysis;
• New informational technologies in education.
  The working languages of the Conference are Russian, English and Kazakh.

Publication:

1. The authors offer the head file, file with the article, file with figures according to the sample.
2. The abstract of the article is situated in the beginning of the article after the header and list of the authors (with the addresses of their e-mail) places.
3. The graphic files are introduced in .eps-formate and are black-and-white or half-tone pictures (Grey-scale). In the file of the text of the article all figures should be conformed with the sample.
4. the Initial not compiled text-files should be entirely placed in horizontal frameworks of a screen behind the possible exception of matrixes and tables.
5. Labels and links to the list of references should be whenever possible individual and are formed on the basis of English writing of a surname of the first co-author - for the formulas or surname of the author of quoted article -for the links to a list of references.
6. The standard style packages not contradict with packages amsmath and amssymb can be used.
7. It is necessary to avoid the definition of new commands.
8. Files should be transmitted without protests of LaTeXа.
