	THE FUTURE OF SYNCHROTRON RADIATION July, 19 a "SI - 2010" XVIII international conference on the use of synchrotron radiation has been opened at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics of the SB RAS.
	THE RUSSIAN MINING SCIENCE POTENTIAL FOR SOLVING THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEMS OF THE RUSSIAN MINING COMPLEX From June, 28 to July, 3 in he course of the All-Russian conference "Fundamental problems of man-caused geo-environment formation" mining scientists discussed urgent questions and prospects of the Russian mining complex development.
	THE WAY OF URAL AND SIBERIA TO THE INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY In the beginning of July at the Institute of History of the SB RAS a took place conference "Becoming of an industrial urbanistic society in the Ural-Siberia territory: approaches, studies, results ".
	A PRESS TOUR INTO THE WORLD OF INNOVATIONS Last week a press tour of the Novosibirsk mass-media into the Technopark of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok has taken place.
	THE CHARA SAND: A RELICT LANDSCAPE OF THE MAMMOTHS’ EPOCH IN THE CENTRAL SIBERIA The expedition of the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics of the SB RAS has come back to Novosibirsk after carrying out field works at the Chara Sand, the unique landscape reserve located at the central part of the Chara Depression in northern Transbaikalia.
