	THE YOUTH G8 IN NOVOSIBIRSK The problem of innovations is of a global character. The session of the working group of the Youth G8 within the framework of the Interra-2009 Innovation Forum was a bright acknowledgement of this.
	TO REALIZE THE DEGREE OF RESPONSIBILITY September, 11 a meeting without ties "Innovation development of Russia: realities and prospects" has taken place at the House of Scientists within the framework of the Interra International Youth Innovation Forum.
	THE WINNER Within the framework of the Interra-2009 International Youth Forum a competition of promising innovational projects of the district stage of the All-Russian Youth Innovation convent has taken place.
	HUMAN CAPITAL OF THE MARKET OF INNOVATIONS September, 12 the most large-scale International Youth Innovation Forum of Interra-2009 has solemnly come to the end. Within three days the Novosibirsk has been literally covered with a hot flame of discussions, since a key question of the meetings was the realization of a lot of (more than 500) innovation projects selected by special jury.
	THE ADVANTAGES OF THE GEOGRAPHICAL CHOICE In the beginning of September the Director of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry Doctor Sc. (Chemistry) V.P.Fedin, one of the youngest directors in the Siberian Branch has celebrated his birthday.
	GEOLOGIST’S ANNIVERSARY September, 5, 2009 Doctor Sc. (Geology and Mineralogy), leading scientific researcher Alexei Konstantinovich Basharin celebrates his 80th anniversary from the birthday and 50th anniversary of working in the Institute of Geology and Geophysics (nowadays the Institute of Petroleum and Gas Geology and Geophysics) of the SB RAS.
	THE PHYSICIST Seventy five years ago, September, 20, 1934 the future Professor of the Novosibirsk State University Gleb Leonidovich Kotkin was born in the city of Tobolsk.
	TECNOLOGICAL DESIGN INSTITUTE OF SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING AND THE "TWEL" CORPORATION: RESULTS OF COOPERATION
	SCIENTIFIC PILGRIMAGE TO THE MOTHERLAND OF AL-KHORESMI September, 18 to 21 of this year an International scientific conference "Urgent problems of applied mathematics and information technologies - Al-Khoresmium- 2009" will take place in Tashkent. The conference is held by the National University of Uzbekistan in memory of an outstanding event, the symposium "Algorithms in modern mathematics and the applications" (1979).
	SEMINAR ON COAST OF ATLANTIC September, 23 to 25, workshop "Russian technologies for oil refining and the processing of renewed raw material" will take place in Rio de Janeiro. It is organized by the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis of the SB RAS under the support of the RF Ministry for Education and Science.
	INTEGRATION WITHIN A SPACE EXPERIMENT Within several September days at the Novosibirsk House of Scientists an International workshop "Biphase systems for ground-based and space applications" was held. The Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics of the SB RAS was one of the main organizers.
	INTERACTION UNDER STRESSES This topic was a basic one at the All-Russian conference "Tolerance of organisms to adverse environmental factors" held at the Siberian Institute of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry of the SB RAS at the end of August.
	SPACE BRIDGE OF SIBERIAN MUSEUMS September, 7 a video-seminar has taken place at the conference hall of the Exhibition Center of the SB RAS. It was a peculiar component of the All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Integration of Siberian museums into the regional socio-cultural space and the world museum community" held in Ulan-Ude.
	MEDICAL GENOMICS AND PROTEOMICS From September, 9 to September, 12 a conference "Medical genomics and proteomics" was held at the Novosibirsk Academgorodok, organized by the Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine of the SB RAS under the support of the Russian Basic Research Foundation.
	EXHIBITION of "SibNedroPozovanie" ("SibBowelManagement") In the beginning of September an International exhibition of technologies, equipment and services for rational management of the bowels of Siberia titled as "SibBowelManagement. Ecology. Business. Nature management" was held at the "SibExpoCenter" Irkutsk exhibition center.
	REGIONAL VENTURE FOUNDATION OF THE NOVOSIBIRSK REGION The representatives of Siberian regions have been interested in the opportunity to receive financing for their developments from the Foundation for assistance to the development of venture investments into small enterprises in the scientific and technical field of the Novosibirsk Region.
	VACANCIES
	UNIFIED STATE EXAMINATION: "A PIG IN A POKE" OR... The inevitable has occurred!. The Unified graduation examination, the necessity of that was spoken so long and much became this year a reality of present time. Moreover, it is the unique form of the estimation of knowledge of secondary school graduates in Russia then being the unique form of the entrance to higher educational institutions.

	THE SONG OF SOUL The showroom of the House of Scientists of the SB RAS since September, 15 invites to the exhibition of the works by well-known Altai artist, poet and traveler Nikolai Chepokov titled as "Altai, the song of my soul".
	IN MEMORY OF LEV SANDAKHCHIEV September, 13 at the science-town of Koltsovo a stone of memory has been opened at the place of the future monument dedicated to Academician Lev Sandakhchiev, the founder of the SSC "Vector".
