	PRESIDENTIAL GRANTS FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS February, 9, 2009 the President of the Russian Federation D.A.Medvedev has signed a Decree "On the measures for strengthening the State support of young Russian scientists, Candidates and Doctors of sciences".
	ISTC, THE TOOL OF SCIENTIFIC DIPLOMACY February, 16 to 18, Chief executive of the International Scientific and Technical Center Adrian Van-der Meer has visited the Novosibirsk Academgorodok.
	THE SB RAS AND "SIEMENS": ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF SERIOUS INTENTIONS February, 3 in Moscow a framework cooperation agreement in the field of innovation activities has been signed between the "Siemens" Corporation and the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
	IN COUNCIL AT THE PRESIDENT OF REPUBLIC For many years the Council for science and technical policy is working at the President of the Republic Saha (Yakutia). Its structure includes the members of the RAS, the directors of the Institutes of the Yakut Scientific Center of the SB RAS, the heads of all large-scale industrial enterprises, ministries and departments of the Republic.
	INTEGRATION PROJECTS: THE SIGN OF THE PRESENT What was the last year for the Institute of Petroleum Chemistry of the SB RAS: what the new projects, developments, technologies appeared, how did their introduction passed?
	THE DAYS OF SCIENCE IN IRKUTSK These days were very saturated on the Baikal land. Moreover they have coincided with actual anniversary of the Irkutsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS that is 60 years old in February. The anniversary celebrations in Irkutsk are planned for spending at the end of March, but the actions of the Days of Science were held under the badge of this event.
	THE DAY OF SCIENCE AT THE TOMSK SCENTIFIC CENTER OF THE SB RAS By Day of Russian Science at the Tomsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS a regular issue of "The Academic Prospectus" newspaper was published. The news of Academgorodok and the most interesting results of scientific Institutes of the TSC of the SB RAS, drawn last year have been presented for the readers.

	WIDE-MEASURE FORMAT February, 4 there was an Open door day at the Institute of Thermophysics.
	SCIENTIFIC SESSION FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN February, 6 from 9 o'clock the Institute of Semiconductor Physics of the SB RAS was filled with young cheerful voices of numerous visitors who come to join to scientific knowledge, to get acquainted with modern semiconductor nanotechnologies.
	THEY LEARNED A LOT OF INTERESTING The Days of Science for pupils of the Laboratory of Ecological Education of the ICG of the SB RAS is an intensive time. The main task is to try to take part in the most of actions as it is possible.
	FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOLCHILDREN AND SCIENTISTS The Institute of Thermophysics of the SB RAS and the Gymnasium № 3 successfully and fruitfully co-operate for many years. Surprising relations have developed between the collectives.
	THE HISTORY AND THE PRESENT AT THE MUSEUM OF THE SB RAS In Days of Science-2009 (from February, 2 to February, 8) it was boisterous in a festively manner at the Museum of the SB RAS: the employees of the museum conducted the excursions for schoolchildren, meetings with scientists, besides exit lectures-presentations have been organized.
	WHY WAS NOT A LAMP TURNED ON... The excursion of schoolchildren to Institute of Thermophysics of the SB RAS.
	THEY LOOKED HOW IS THE SCIENCE MADE During the students’ vacations, from February, 1 to February, 7, at the Novosibirsk State University a course of the accelerated training was held for five undergraduates of the Chemistry faculty of the Altai State University.
	"PURE MEADOW" - THE KEEPER OF THE NATURE February, 4 the employees of the Mountain-Altai Botanical Garden held a meeting with pupils, devoted to the Day of Russian science.
	ACADEMICIAN V.A.KOPTIUG AND BAIKAL The Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences - the Russian Academy of Sciences from the first years of its existence consistently supported the preservation of the unique Baikal Lake.
