	SCIENCE HOLIDAY IN TYUMEN The 50th anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the RAS is going on striding along scientific centers. September, 20 the holiday has taken place at the Tyumen Scientific Center of the SB RAS.
	FOR 375 YEARS TOGETHER September, 27 the 375th anniversary of Yakut people voluntary affiliation to Russia has been celebrated in Yakutia.
	FULL AGE October, 5 the Institute for Water and Environmental Problems of the SB RAS celebrates the 20th anniversary.

	THE PARKWAY OF THE ACADEMGORODOK’S GLORY On Saturday, September, 29, in the serene autumn afternoon, a laying of the parkway of Akademgorodok’s Glory has taken place within the territory between the House of Scientists of SB RAS and the Exhibition Center.
	BAIKAL, MASSIFS, DISCUSSIONS Many scientific conferences have passed this year under the badge of the 50th anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the RAS. An International conference held in the Irkutsk Region has been dedicated to this date as well as to the 90th anniversary from the birth date of Academician L.V.Tauson.

The researchers of the Irkutsk Limnological Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences together with the professors of Japan have studied a "delicate" aroma of the Baikalsk City. At the Angara riverside, the scientists have tested a new device that can catch even infinitesimal concentrations of air emissions of the Baikal Industrial Complex.
	MOSCOW DOES NOT TRUST TEARS More than for forty years Moscow is gathering the experts of chemical branch for "Chemistry", the International specialized exhibition of chemical industry and science.
	SCIENTIFIC FORUM OF THE YOUNG October, 8 in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok, the Youth scientific conference «Trofimuk readings - 2007» will be opened at the Trofimuk Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics of the SB RAS.
	NSU, THE LEADER OF SCIENTIFIC COMPETITION According to the results of the Open competition for the best scientific work of students of higher education institutions in natural sciences, engineering and the humanities announced one year ago by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Novosibirsk State University became an obvious leader: there are 16 medals and 25 diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Russian Federation.

	TO THE SCIENCE TOGETHER WITH "SCHLUMBERGER" In the Novosibirsk Academgorodok a scientific and practical seminar of the SEED voluntary educational program for children of international service company "Schlumberger ", well known supplier of services, solutions and technologies for the oil and gas industry has come to the end.
	KEEP YOUR HERITAGE! From September, 10 to September, 16 «The Days of Heritage» were held in our city where the students of the Universities of the Siberian region studying French language have taken part.
	REVELATION OF RUSSIA In September, 2007 the British television company «Mentorn TV» was shooting a series of documentary films «Russia Revealed».
	DRAMA OF GOSHA THE PELICAN In the middle of September the personnel of one of the recreation centers has caught on the Ob Sea of a weakened young curled pelican who had seriously, up to blindness, his right eye injured by a pellet as a result of firing by hunters.
