	GEOLOGICAL CONFERENCE IN TRANSBAIKALIA The All-Russian conference «Geochemistry and ore-formation of radioactive, noble and rare metals in endogenous and exogenous processes» held April, 16 to 18 was one of the first anniversary actions in Ulan-Ude devoted to the 50th anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the RAS.
	THE GIFT TO THE SIBERIAN BRANCH CAN BE SEEN ON THE INTERNET On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the SB RAS, the employees of the A.P.Ershov Institute of Informatics Systems have developed the project of the archive of the photos collected for the 50 years of the existence of the Siberian Branch. The making this idea a reality is at full speed.
	KOREAN AND RUSSIAN INSTITUTE OF MECHANOCHEMISTRY OPENED In Sanchon National University, Korean and Russian Technological Institute of Mechanochemistry is opened on the basis of the laboratory for development of the methods of metallurgical wastes recycling.
	APRIL SESSION IN THE KEMEROVO SCIENIFIC CENTER OF THE SB RAS The traditional April scientific session in the Kemerovo Scientific Center this year is devoted to the 50th anniversary of the Siberian Branch.
	THE DAY OF CLEAR WATER IN VOLGOGRAD The scientists of the Tomsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS are the first who have succeeded in the complete solving the problem of the purification of potable water from microorganisms.

	ANSWERING THE CHALLENGE OF TIME The Tomsk Polytechnic University and the largest industrial concern "Shell" have held a round table discussion in Tomsk. 	THE FORMULA OF LEADERSHIP Recently the economic weekly "Commersant-dengi" (Buisnessman-money) has carried out the determination of rating of the demand for the graduates of the Russian higher education institutions. About 300 largest companies of Russia participated in the interrogation. It turned out, that among those who is in the greatest demand there are the graduates of the Irkutsk State Technical University too.
	FRANCE BECOMING CLOSER Regional seminar for the teachers of French language of higher and secondary education institutions «Unified base European frameworks, methodical manuals, classroom exercises» has been held in April in Krasnoyarsk.
