	THE PLAN OF THE MEASURES OF THE 50TH SB RAS ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION IN 2007
	IN HONOUR OF THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY April, 22 an All-Russian scientific and practical conference devoted to the 50th anniversary of the SB RAS to be held in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok.
	LET'S PRESENT THE SB RAS AN ALP The 50th anniversary of the SB RAS is approaching. In honor of this significant event it is offered to mountaineer in May, 2007 one of anonymous peaks in glacial mountain range of Tabyn-Bogdo-Ula (Mongolian Altai) and to name this alp «Peak of scientists» with the listing in the RF Catalogue of Peaks.

	THE 25TH SIBERIAN INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL The folklore festival will take place from May, 3 to May, 6 within the framework of the Interweek 2007 and will be devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Novosibirsk Region and to the 50th anniversary of the SB RAS.

	THE COMMONWEALTH IS PROCEEDING At the end of August, 1972 in the small resort town of Palm-Beach in Florida an extraordinary revival reigned. More than 500 scientists from 32 countries have gathered for the Fifth International Congress on catalysis. Russian scientist Georgi Konstantinovich Boreskov has been elected a President of the Congress.
	THE SCIENTIST AND PATRIOT In a workaday routine we not always can estimate the importance of the achieved things. And only the meeting with wise and benevolent people sometimes opens the essence of one’s deeds, allows to see all the made as though from the outside, to feel the success, to be inspired on the novelty.
	IT WAS LATELY, IT WAS LONG AGO… I communicated with Georgi Konstantinovich Boreskov in fact daily more then for 20 years.
	THE TRAVEL TO THE WORLD'S END In 1979 the Presidium of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences has decided to organize a trip to the Taimyr Peninsula in order to learn about the problems of this region of Siberia and to offer the help to solve them. There were more than twenty people in the structure of the expedition, Georgi Konstantinovich Boreskov among them.
	THE BEST YEARS IN THE WORKING CAREER In the spring of 1978 Georgi Konstantinovich has invited me to his study and told: «I’m asking you to become not only my reviewing secretary, but my assistant».
