	COMPETITION OF THE WORKS OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS In November and December, 2005 a competition of works is held for nominal prizes of the Novosibirsk Regional Administration.
	М.A.LAVRENTIEV STILL LIVES IN THE 21st CENTURY … In the present time the studies on the history of science through the prism of the activity of scientists plays an important role in the revival of spiritual and cultural potential of the Russian society.
	ON THE DELIVERING THE NSU TO THE STRUCTURE OF THE SIBERIAN BRANCH; 1963: HOW DID ALL THIS BEGIN … Last years in the scientific community the question on closer integration of the Siberian Branch of the RAS and the Novosibirsk State University is actively discussed, as well as the one about possibility to include the NSU into the SB RAS structure. The scientists who were at origins of the organization of the Siberian Academic science at the end of 1950ths, certainly, know very well that this problem is not new and has a history.
	STRESSED EARTH All-Russian conference with participation of foreign experts "Geodynamics and stressed state of the Earth’s bowels", organized by the Institute of Mining of the SB RAS has been held at the House of Scientists of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok.
	COMPOUNDS, UNEXPECTED AND PROMISING … The coming of November was marked at the Nikolaev Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the RAS by the International conference "New borders of modern coordination chemistry".
	PRESENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL LASER EXHIBITION The International scientific and technical organization "Laser association", the "Center of Information of German Economy " and the Exhibition Center of the SB RAS invite specialists to the presentation of the exhibition "LASERS. The world of photonics" (Chinese People’s Republic, Shanghai, March, 2006).
	THE MEETING SITE: VLADIVOSTOK Vladivostok became a place of the autumn meeting of the participants of the 4th seminar of Higher education institutions of Siberia and the Far East on thermophysics and power engineering under the aegis of the Institute of Thermophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
	BOTANICAL FORUM IN SIBERIA All-Russian conference "Biodiversity and the spatial organization of Siberian flora, the methods of studying and protection" has taken place at the end of October in the Central Siberian Botanical Garden of the SB RAS.
	REGIONAL FAIR OF INNOVATION&INVESTMENT PROJECTS The First Regional Fair of Innovation and Investment Projects has taken place in the International Exhibition Center "Siberian Fair" within the framework of the "Siberian Business Forum 2005". The purpose of the Fair consists in the improvement of the business climate of the Region, attraction of the investments into innovation and investment projects.
	"BURNING" PROBLEM EXTINGUISHED BY FRESH IDEA A cheap and efficient method of burning lignine extinguishing with the help of thermal power station sludge was offered by the scientists of the Limnological Institute of the SB RAS.
	HALF A CENTURY IN CREATIVE SEARCH November, 29 Zhibzema Garmaevna Bazarova, Professor, Doctor Sc. (Chemistry), Honoured Scientific Worker of Republic Buryatiya and Russia, full member of Asian-Pacific Academy of Materials, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, head of laboratory of the Baikal Institute of Nature Management of the SB RAS, head of chair at the faculty of the Buryat State University is 70.
	TO STOP A MOMENT … How many surprising meetings, tremendous impressions happen in the life! One would like to stop, prolong exciting moments! Someone gives rise to verses, someone to the plots of books, articles, pictures. However the most remarkable opportunity to stop a moment is to embody it in a picture.
	THE FILMS ABOUT DYBOVSKI, CHERSKI AND OTHERS A cycle of documentary films about exiled Poles will be shot in Siberia. It is joint project of the Warsaw TV and the Irkutsk Regional film collection.
