	WHERE THERE’S A WILL, THERE’S A WAY August, 25 Director of the Technological Design Institute of Scientific Instrument Making of the SB RAS (TDI SIM), Honorary scientific worker of the RF, Doctor Sc. (Engineering) Professor Yuri Vasilevich Chuguy is 60. On the eve of the anniversary the scientist tells to the “SiS” readers about the business to that his life was devoted.
	WHAT ABOUT HAS THE SUIT OF THE ETERNITY ENVOYS TOLD In the beginning of August in the House of Scientists of the NSC a presentation has been held of the book by N.Polosmak and L.Barkova "The Suit and Textiles Altai Pazyryks (4th to 3rd centuries B.C.)". Archeologists, employees of the publishing house and mass-media representatives have gathered for the presentation.
	RUSSIAN-CHINESE EXPEDITION ON BAIKAL LAKE August, 10 a large delegation of Chinese scientists and journalists has arrived to Irkutsk in order to hold research expedition across Baikal Lake together with the scientists of the institutes of the Irkutsk Scientific Center. Its purpose is to acquaint themselves with ecology and environment of the lake, its relief, features, as well as with the life of people living on the lakeside.

The tourist business has animated them: fantastic attics and somewhere whole inhabited complexes and the cottages more similar to castles have risen instead of lop-sided shanties.
