	ANNIVERSARY CONGRATULATIONS Corresponding Member of the RAS V.Vernikovski is 50.
	HEALTH ORIENTED PROJECTS In the last "SiS" issue an interview has been published with Academician Valentin Vlasov, Director of the Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine of the SB RAS about formation and working of the Center of Novel Medical Technologies of the SB RAS in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok. Today the scientist tells about three particular projects those are actively fulfilled at the Center.
	IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRUST THE RUSSIAN STATISTICS? During last 90 years Russia has no luck with statistics.
	LET THERE BE RUSSIAN-CHINESE TECHNOPARK! According to the preliminary arrangement between the SB RAS and the AS of China it is planned, that the created Center will consist of two branches: the Russian one in Novosibirsk and Irkutsk on the base of the Siberian Branch of the RAS and the Chinese one on the base of the Chanchung and Liaoning branches of the AS of China.
