THE GREAT GRANDFATHER PRIZE FOR GRANDSON SCIENTIST
 
The present award of the M.A.Lavrentiev Prize by the Russian Academy of Sciences became especial: Doctor Sc. (Physics and Mathematics) Michail Lavrentiev (younger), the representative of the third generation of the dynasty of the Lavrentievs mathematicians, has been awarded to the high Academic prize for the series of works "Development of new mathematical methods in application to mechanics" together with professors T.Zeleniak and A.Kazhihov.
